It's adorable. And its a fine price for the iconic Totoro. He does have a good setting for a nightlight light in red, a bright white or the umbrella. But I just bought it for my husband for valentines day. Why some reviews complain I don't know. But my husband loved it.

Super cute lamp but I bought two for my sons and one lamp came with the extra Totoro figure and the other one didn’t.

JUNK! It won't stay charged for more than about 10 minutes! No way to fix that either. Skip it, and buy something else!
