Actually really good. I didn’t think I would like it but wanted to try it. My fiancé hates pistachios and he ate 5 in one sitting. The texture is amazing. The only bad thing is you get powdered sugar everywhere. I think it’s a bang for your bucks if you want to give it a try. I still have my box for a quick sweet treat.

I have been eating Locum since I was a boy. My Grandfather was born in Istanbul Turkey. I was born in the Bronx New York. My Dad's Dad would always buy my two favorite Locum flavors; Rose and Pistachio. Hazer Baba's Locum hands down has the Two best Authentic Original Flavors exactly the same as my "Papu" used to get it. Hazer Baba's Locum has my two Favorite Flavors. Rose and Pistachio. The Texture and Softness including Freshness is all there, and the powdered Sugar is Perfect! Hazer Baba Turkish Delight Is Perfect. It's the Best in my opinion!

These were very fresh & taste very good. However, I have had Turkish Delight before & there were pistacios in every bite. This is kind of hit & miss. Again, the flavor is good but there aren't many pistacios. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

Turkish delight has been a favourite ever since I read about it in C.S Lewis's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and tried it. I've tried many brands, and I've learned over the years that Turkish Delight with pistachios is the best. The pistachios are an antidote to all the sugar. Hazer Baba brand is great. The box contains an inner box which slides out. The Turkish Delight is wrapped in wax paper, 32 pieces in all. You will inevitably get some powered sugar spill. Hazer Baba Turkish Delight contains no gelatin so it's suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is on the chewy side rather than soft (like other brands I've tried) and that's fine with me. The pistachios ameliorate the sweetness--also another feature I like. Serving size is 3 pieces (I only eat one piece at a time). Calories per three piece serving= 150. Total carb=37 g. Fiber=1 g and Sugar=30 g Protein 1 g per serving. This package has a seven month expiration date. Anyway delicious, and in common with all Turkish Delight, it's to be savoured and best not to eat too much at once.

Not the same as bought from turkey airport. The product was stale even though the expiration date still has 6 months to go. Product was hard and did not taste good.

I can't think of any better delicacy for treating oneself. It takes a certain slowness to really savor Turkish delight -- so much to enjoy. First there is the powdered surface, next there is the texture, which is hard to describe, but suffice it to say that the longer it stays in your mouth, the more subtle flavor emerges. Enjoyed slowly and with appreciation, the flavor changes, becoming richer, sweeter, more fragrant. This particular style with the pistachios is great b/c the nuts are a counterpoint: crunchy and salty vs sweet and chewy. I first learned to love this treat from my aunt, who has lived many years in Greece, and learned herself to enjoy Turkish Delight in that culture, where a gift of this sweet is traditionally enjoyed among friends and family -- as hospitality gift, holiday gift, friendship offering, quintessential dessert with a strong dark coffee as a chaser (hot drink enhances the delicious melting.)
