Sadolin Superdec Satin Opaque Wood Protection Super White 2.5 Litre

Great paint for outside timber. I have an old white timber conservatory. I think it’s only the Sadolin that holds it together and looking good. Lovely to apply and work with, very forgiving, covers imperfections really well.

No undercoat needed on bare wood. Lasts well. Prone to finger- prints but, usually, can be washed off. Initially needs 2 coats. But later a light sand and a redcoat.

Even after stiring and 2 coats it was like painting on PVA! For the price the result was disappointing....water proof however credit where it's due.

May be more expensive but it's worth the money! My builder friend recommended it to me. Give it a go.

Brilliant white, used to protect our conservatory for 20 years. Faster and easier to apply/reapply than paint with minimal rubbing down. Just a quick redcoat every 2 or 3 years keeps it looking like new. Expensive for a tin, but saves on undercoat, and time. You can even wash the brushes out in water, saving the Environment from White Spirit.

Best paint for external painting doesn’t peel and good coverage would highly recomend

Awful paint. It’s gloopy and has poor coverage. I really don’t understand all the positive reviews. I was looking for a decent exterior paint for some pine louvre doors I’m using to surround my solar battery. Sanded and treated the wood, and hoped this paint would avoid me having to paint a primer and undercoat - as advertised - but it’s just awful as you can see from the photo. And that’s two coats! Adhesion was poor and it’s so gloopy that any running back over areas you’ve already painted - literally seconds previously - and it drags leaving an awful finish.
