Tata Swach Non Electric Smart 15 Litre Gravity Based Water Purifier

For a single person/ small family (2-3 ppl) this is perhaps one of the best, cheap water filtering solutions available. Easy to put together and use. One of the things which need to be taken care of though is that the big screw-on lid for the upper chamber, to which the filter is attached, is a little difficult to screw tightly. All the surfaces must be absolutely dry, then only does it fit such that it does not leak. Would not comment on water quality as better ppl and labs have tested these. Although I may just say that I have not fallen sick while using this. I must confess though that I use a resin based direct tap filter to collect water in seperate bottles which I then pour into this. How it affects performance of either I do not know. Overall, a decent product at the price point for a small household.

overall nice product, i will recommended for who living two person member in family ,in this filer primary water filteration stage take more time to enter water in secondary filteration,but water filteration is good as i expected, also this product easy to install and clean,i have been using this product for the last 6 months ,but still no any water leakages or no any other issue found,you can go for purchase this product if you have 2 or 3 members in your family....

This is a very good product. Its easy to assemble and start using. I have been using this for almost 6 months now. Pros: Filters fast, assembles easily, does not need power. Cons: The filter to tank seal is leaky, if we tilt the above tank a little, water leaks out of the threading and possibly into the filtered water below. This isn't good! we have to be really careful to keep the tank perfectly vertical at all times. Even when we are ferrying it from the sink after filling. The capacity mentioned is not actually of 15 litres , only half of this is drinkable water. We are a 2 person family and we finish this in 2 days or lesser. The outlet tap is really small. To fill a 1 ltr bottle you have to wait and wait and wait for it to fill. The outlet should have been larger. The pace is really annoying. Do i recommend this ? yes. It's useful if you don't want to spend much / live in a rented place with no aquaguard etc. Would I buy it again ? No. I'm impatient and don't like the cons above. I Will look for an alternative next time.

Nice quality

Pathetic and poor quality plastic. Other than the outer container's plastic, the inside contraptions are really hard to assemble and looks too fragile. The instruction manual was not matching with the components delivered!!! (could not believe my eyes that a TATA product could do this!!). The instruction manual was perhaps either from the the older version or newer version. Therefore, I was on my own while assembling this confounded contraption. Putting together the parts is such a pain without a proper instruction manual. The instruction manual was of such poor quality, i was cursing and swearing at who ever came up with the idea of saving 20 paise on the print quality. After spending 30 minutes, i put together the damned unit , only to find that the water was dripping from the poor quality tap, not from the sides, but right through the tap's nozzle (the inside valve mechanism of the tap is faulty. Some savings here, i am almost sure!!). The filter on top of the container is exposed and there is no cover at the top!! [Can this be?? Or the bloke who packed the items together missed it???] In all, this product fell flat on its face, not for the innovation, but for the final quality and due to lacking "eye for the detail". Originally, it may have been a good innovation to spring such an idea, but TATA failed in productionising the idea!! Anybody listening in TATA??. Hello??!!

WOW! was the first impression that i got when i open the box. The package contained multiple items which needs to be assembled and it was easy as well. Neat and clean. It is almost a month since i am using this product and i must say that it is an excellent product. The taste of filtered water is very good. There is no maintainance issues with it. Fill it shut it and forget it.. you will keep on getting pure water. Please compare it with the products of it types i.e. conventional and non electric based purifier. I did found some people comparing this product with the RO purifiers which is not appropriate. At this cost you will not get a better quality and a very trusted brand. Also i feel proud that i have contrubuted a portion by buying an Indian product which is Make in India.

I am user of this product, its a good product, when I purchased this product from amazon.it has mentioned that TATA Swachh bulb is available separately to purchase. Now I am searching for this but no bulb is available. Without bulb this product is useless. If TATA Swachh has discontinued this bulb to sell separately, then entire product should be discontinue. I can see that TATA Swachh product is available for sell but its bulb is not available. I would recommend that if bulb is not available all the time, then don't buy this product.

I am using another Tata Swach water purifier for over 3 years now and satisfied with its performance. I bought this one expecting similar experience. However, 2 issues with this unit have prompted me to give a 2 star rating: 1. Though it purifies the water, it does not improve the taste if the water is hard. 2. I am unable to locate a vendor who can supply me with the 1500Litre capacity Yellow cartridge used in this filter. Even Tata Cliq and Tata Chemicals sites do not stock this. I'm wondering whether I'll have to scrap this purifier after the cartridge fuse cuts off the output.
