Great price for the set of two, speedy to arrive, good quality product (the glass is neither too thick nor to thin/brittle) and product came true to description and image. Both the jars and the lid are solid glass. No labels to peel off which was nice. The lid fits but note that it isn't air tight, so if you’re using these for w terrarium you may need to line the top with plastic wrap to make it air tight.

These jars are beautiful, sturdy and very uselful. They provide a perfect place for my household stock of sourdough starter to live and grow. The lids are great and they are not airtight so the sourdough can breathe. I've taped a measuring ruler to the side of the jar and every time I feed the starter it rises so I can see that the process is working. These jars may be "old fashioned", but they do the job and they are very sturdy.

I was looking for a good-sized candy jar for my desk and was pleasantly surprised by these. So many items on Amazon end up being smaller than expected not the case here. These jars are exactly the size you'd hope for, with a solid half-gallon capacity that holds a generous amount. I was expecting thin, fragile glass, but these are thick, heavy, and feel very durable. The lids fit well and add to the classic, clean look. They’ll be perfect for candy, snacks, or even office supplies. The only minor issue is that the rim of the jar has a sharp square edge. It would have been nicer if it were more rounded for a smoother feel when reaching in. Still, for the price, this is an excellent buy. Great quality, classic design, and very functional. Highly recommended!

Solid glass, thick and great usage for dry laundry products.

...if that is what you are looking for (which I didn't realize I was). So it's not great for preserving freshness. I may not use these for its original intent now but overall good size, decent quality and the look I want. The glass seems slightly warped or murky, but it's not anything major.

Nice big glass jars. Not airtight to keep moths or insects out but great for storing packaged items. I have used several to make terrariums.

I bought these to use on the kitchen counter to hold snacks: granola bars, crackers, peanuts, etc. Perfect size and fit nicely under the upper cabinet side by side. I don't have a pet but I imagine they would be perfect to hold treats for them too. Great price and a very useful product. Not real heavy. Easy to see, because it's glass, of what is held inside them. The capacity is great to hold several boxes of granola bars or bagged peanuts.

Love these! Great value getting 2 of them. Straight sides and huge opening allows easy cleaning and refilling jars. Lids are heavy enough to stay put and even though the lids don’t have rubber seals they have a good seal on them. I highly recommend
