Remnants of Filth: Yuwu (Novel) Vol. 3

This was my favorite of the three Remnants books released thus far. Meat Bun’s writing is so incredibly good and you really feel the pain in your chest that Mo Xi feels in the book. The ending really makes you hurt for him. The only other time I felt such an emotional pull to a story book character is from Meat Bun’s other work, White Husky and His Cat Shizun (specifically Chu Wanning’s story). There’s so much depth in Meat Bun’s writing and in this book, Mo Xi starts to realize that things aren’t what they had seemed. Amazing story and writing. I can’t wait for the next one.

This book had so much angst and true meat bun writing. I love the Easter eggs and the unwittingly surprises. If you have never read one of her books I highly recommend that you do.

Stunning

The third volume did not disappoint. It ended so quickly that I expected to turn the next page. Rou Bao Chi Rou never disappoints in breathtaking detailed storytelling. The flaws and beauty of the characters continue to develop. While all three can standalone it is more pleasing to read them in order. I would recommend reading this series.

Meat Bun had me crying so much for 13 out of 24 chapters of volume 3!!! 13!!! Over 120 pages of tears!!! It took 4 days to read because I kept getting emotionally exhausted and had to stop so many times. The last time I had such an extreme reaction to what I was reading was also thanks to Meat Bun…Dumb Husky and His White Cat Shizun 💔 …chapters 279 & 280…if you’ve read it that far, you KNOW. I had to stop for ages before I could even finish Chapter 280 of it because I was sobbing for ages before eventually crying myself to sleep. We don’t know who Meat Bun is, what sex or gender, what age or experience, but this author weaves their tales into the very fibers of my heart.

Meatbun does it again. This may be my favorite Danmei so far! It is Such good storytelling! So poignant. I have teared up more than once. I can’t wait for the next translated volumes to be released!

I love how things are progressing for our heroes, the way the mysteries slowly but steadily begin to be unraveled. Very nice!

This novel is everything. Romance, love, angst, tragedy, violence, sex, abuse, drugs. I have read a lot of danmei novel but until now, this is the only novel I can say, it's the best of the best

I think I love pain because why am I this obsessed with YUWU, if you like suffering and crying and suffering and crying honestly join in. You already know what you’re in for with book 1 hahahahahaha. ALSO OMFG THE ART???????? (One of my fave covers ever)

Corners of the book are a little crushed but other than that. It's in perfect condition. Would recommend bubble wrap the book before selling.

WOW! What a world! What beautifully heartbreaking writing! Such depth of the emotions I felt whilst reading this book. The author conveys the characters innocence, raw emotions and confusion so well. This series has been nothing short of amazing so far.
