These Amazon Basics pencils are excellent! They write smoothly, sharpen well, and hold up great through lots of use. In my opinion, they’re very close to the Ticonderoga pencils but at a much better price. Perfect for school or the office definitely worth it!

My favorite pencils. For my mischievous junior high school students, they are very durable. They are reasonably priced and offer great value for money. They are standard-sized pencils. The pre-sharpened design makes them very convenient to use.

These are just as good as “name brand” #2 pencils! They come pre-sharpened which is very convenient. The grip feels great and normal. The lead is strong and isn’t too soft. All ages use these pencils in our home and are preferred over mechanical pencils because the lead doesn’t break as easily (especially for young writers). Lastly, it’s nice that it’s such a large quantity because someone is always seeming to misplace their pencil. Having a large box to draw from is convenient.

Controversial opinion here: I would take Amazon Basic pencils over Ticonderoga any day! I am a 5th-grade teacher and have used Ticonderoga for years; lately, I have had lots of issues with them breaking or not sharpening correctly, so I decided to purchase these because of the great value.I didn't really know what to expect, but these are great. They come super-sharpened, and they are pretty sturdy. They last much longer than the other brands in my classroom. They also sharpen very nicely; I don't think I've ever had an issue sharpening them.Erasing is just okay. I noticed a pink residue when using the eraser for the first time, but it faded over time. I will ONLY buy this kind of pencil moving forward.
