Robocroc

Good movie I like movies like this one and others if I find more like this one .

Robocroc is a fun movie with a good story and mostly great special effects. I say mostly because one of the earliest scenes in the movie, showing the release of the nanobots, was not very well done. In my opinion, anyway. Don't be scared off!! The rest of the effects are fantastic. Especially when the croc becomes mostly, well... I don't wanna spoil it. But well done! The cast was great. Corin Nemec is the lead. How many of these low budget creature features has he starred in? I think I have at least a dozen. (Sand Sharks is a favorite that comes immediately to mind.) And Dee Wallace is a perfect stone cold bitch! Suffice it to say that if you love creature features, you oughta like this one.

Excellent entertainment

Me and my sister lover Sci fi movies. We watched this on TV one day and I know my sister really enjoyed it. So when I found it finally on Amazon, I just knew I had to get it for her. She watches all the time when nothing else is on.

Pleased with product

Great movie i don't hate it

dee Wallace is credited as a supporting actor. she holds together what would be an otherwise story of of dim witted teens wandering around with thi 'hy haven't I been had for lunch yet?' "abomidable" was another movie she starred in, and shows the depth of her acting ability. not a bad movie, best with buttered popcorn.

Like most rocket mishaps, this one's payload accidentally lands in a crocodile enclosure at a local zoo/fishing hole/water park, infesting a poor lonely croc named Stella. She gets a snootful of nanobots and immediately goes heavy metal. Military types invade the zoo and takeover. There's dissension in the ranks between a menacing sexagenarian (Dee Wallace as Riley) and a Colonel Montgomery (Steven Hartley) who mistakenly thinks he's in charge. Also along for the ride are Corin Nemec as Duffy, Stella's zoo buddy, and Lisa McAllister as Jane (who wanted `field experience' in a zoo). The rapidly changing Stella terrorizes the park; killing a bazillion people no one seems overly concerned about losing. Corin stomps around emoting for all he's worth while Dee Wallace, with face of stone, fiddles with a tablet, occasionally remembering to sneer appropriately at everyone. This is schlock sci-fi by the numbers. There are no surprises. People are attacked, dragged off then left bloody and mangled hither and yon, all the messy bits having been done off screen. More's the pity. I do love carnage; it's what you expect from crazy-critters-on-the-loose flicks. In that regard, this movie is sadly lacking. There isn't even a satisfying retribution killing at the finale. This movie simply runs out of time, and the person you most want to see chomped doesn't get their onscreen comeuppance. I hate it when that doesn't happen. Otherwise, it's pretty standard. It's neither here nor there where quality is concerned. The `cartoon' croc bounces along, poorly integrated with the background (the same could be said of Dee Wallace). But. For all of its many failings, I still liked this dopey attempt at making a `monster' movie.

If you are even considering this one then you must know what you are in for. Terrible special effects...Check. Awefull story with holes you could fit a battleship through...check. Terrible acting...Check. And of course a few bikini clad ladies to get munched on, because we have to have those for some reason. It's all here in spades. Get some popcorn and prepare to laugh.

Excellent movie. Plenty of action. That croc sure was mean and if you like blood spill there's plenty in this one.

Found myself fast forwarding through much of the movie. Hard to fathom how escaped nanites can completely transform a flesh and blood living crocodile into a fully metallic robotic terminator, complete with high tech imaging where eyes used to be. And what kind of military unit isn't equipped with modern high explosive devices to take out an armored vehicle. Aside from a lot of gratuitous bloodshed, this is just a very bad fairy tale.

A space probe crashes, releasing thousands of nanobots (that's molecule-changing robots to you and I) which start work at a zoo, turning a crocodile into a half-mechanical psycho killer. Though this film has a promising start, it unfortunately never takes advantages of the possibilities a cyborg crocodile has to offer. Despite a strong cast and some interesting CGI it is still just another "big crocodilian on the loose" movie, a format done with much more inventiveness and wit than this in films such as "Alligator". Worth watching but nothing special.

This is so bad it’s fantsstic
