Love using PanPastels. They are a game changer in being able to block in texture quickly to achieve a beautiful rich color. You can control the boldness of the color by using layers and build as you go. They are also erasable, when using on paper. Ive had so much fun with them I know teach others how to use them! I tell people they are like paiting but with dry media. Less mess... No washing brushes. Easy to use. Adds a delicate softness to my work. Also as far as how long a pan will last. It will surprise you. They lasy for a long time with regular use.

First I'm just really happy Amazon had these particular pastels. PanPastel are of the best quality and I really needed two colors, to fix a Breyer that came with a little damage. I hope as I explore making customs that Amazon will have all the colors I need. PanPastel maybe a little costly but for the money you get an amazing product. They go on smooth and are easy for a beginner like me to use. They are also easy to store, because they come in cute little dishes that fit in a any small plastic storage container. Can't wait to use these.

I'm not a professional artist, but I AM a professional shopper of art supplies - according to my Husband The Complainer - and all I can say is that I'm halfway through my first pastel work (see attached photo of "Snakey") and I LOVE these Pan Pastels. From what I understand, everyone who uses them loves them, and my little review is hardly necessary. I CAN say, however, that I have used them also for polymer clay, and I can speak to their wonderful qualities in that field, having had an amazing experience with them for over 20 years now. You can use Pan Pastels on uncured (preferred) clay, and NEVER worry about it not working - it will stay put through any sort of condition you can imagine. It survives through the baking process, even multiple bakings, and looks as fresh and beautiful as it did when you first applied it, the same as it does when you apply it on Pastelmat when using it for artwork (as in Snakey). I don't consider myself an "artist," but I'm having a ball using these. I know they're expensive, but they're actually NOT when you think of how little you use at a time. Compared to pastel sticks, you are using barely a fraction of the amount. If you take the time to compare the two, you will see. The results with Pan Pastel, however, are worth the investment, no matter the cost, though, if results mean anything to you. And they should.

While PanPastels can blend easily the process is not as smooth as when you use the colorless blender. Colors blend so easily and the colors are not diluted.

I don't want to hurt the sale of this fine product, but unless these are packed carefully, they probably can't be shipped without damage unless Amazon upgrades prep. A minimally padded envelope is not sufficient.

Pan pastels are amazing. The application is smooth and creamy. Their soft tool applicators are highly recommended to apply and blend flawlessly. I bought a basic set “the Jason Morgan Wildlife “ plus an extra white. Honestly, those are all the colors you’ll need to do landscapes or animal art. They last a long time and are easy to store. They can be erased. Like with all pastels, when erased they leave a slight hue but can be covered over with. They’re absolutely great for pastel backgrounds as well. They do cost more but they last forever since you only have to use a small amount. I also purchased the transparent color which allows you to blend into the pastel without changing its color, like white would. Makes for better blending of colors too. Image shows my entire set.

I watched a good amount of doll customizing Youtubers who use this brand but thought that other well renowned pastels would perform pretty much the same way. Maybe they could if I took the time to grind them into a pallete. PanPastels are absolutely awesome. The shades are super pigmented. Pretty much the color you see is what you get on the doll. The makeup pallete like storage makes them great for doll makeup. They last a long time and they hardly take any layers to build up color. Yes the initial price investment can be a little steep but you'd be better off just getting the colors you need than buying other brick pastel sets and then coming back the PanPastel. For this specific color, it's very mute and light. It's like the palest skin tone with a spritz of a pink caramel. Still super versatile for what i used it for but it's definitely not the basic light skin tone shade I thought it would be. Closer to white than it is to peach.

Pan Pastel sind die einfach die besten. Danach möchte man mit keinen anderen mehr arbeiten. Ich habe bereits einige Farben und Sets gekauft und rezensiere zum fünften Mal oder so. Und kann nichts anderes schreiben als, dass ich begeistert bin und mir die gesamte Palette holen werden. Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt. Ihr werdet die Qualität sehen und fühlen.

Le rendu est très velouté. La couleur est profonde. Jolis coquelicots.

Sin duda alguna, los PanPastel cumplen todas mis espectativas, lo único malo es el precio, siguen siendo demasiado caros... pero son perfectos!
