Looks as ordered. Strong and works well to bind together my hand-made braided wool rug. My best friend had made it for me several years ago, and while the thick thread she’d used hadn’t broken, it had definitely stretched out after a few washings— the braids were now big enough to fit a whole foot or leg through! But with this waxed thread, I’ve been able to bind the braids back together suitably.

This is a thick, good quality, consistent, linen-like thread (and plenty of it for such a low price!) with an ample coating of wax, which made for smooth and easy sewing. I now realize this thread is intended for sewing leather (i.e., not necessarily for bookbinding), which may account for its slightly greasy feel. Happily, after a month, I have not detected any residue on my pages, so it might be unfair to take off one star for that issue. I just want to use something else for my next book project. I attach a photo of my first-timer binding so you can see how the thread held up after considerable handling. I had to undo and redo my work twice. (Please don't judge my clumsy perforations!) I think it performed very well. I am surprised it looks as clean and neat as it was while on its spool.

Thread was exactly what I needed to repair two pillows on my living room upholstered chairs. Quality was great.

Used to make webbing for Dream Catchers Works well but tends to become untied so I had to glue it closed

As close to real sinew as I've found at a fraction of the cost. Using mainly for items that get used & abused. Very durable & looks great.
