My cat was so picky about having his claws trimmed but after ordering these nail clippers he is such a baby but they get the job done quick and easy! I love how they are shaped, and the angle on the clippers helps immensely. As to the safety, you need to know what your doing bc these clipper are not high tech, please watch videos and things before trimming your animals nails. There is so much risk for a mistake that can cause discomfort and infection. My cat loves to nibble and chew on the handle sometimes and they’ve held up wonderfully! Definitely a good investment for the price. Very effective!

These are great! I would recommend over the electronic style for dogs who have an aversion to the electric motor hums. Just be careful you cut a tiny amount so you don’t hit your dog’s quick (the vein that is inside the nail). Cut them carefully Overall: They are well-made, an excellent value, lightweight, easy to use.
