I purchased the Green Tea (Matcha) scrub in May and have thoroughly enjoyed it as my daily morning facial wash. For context, I am a 36 year old white female living in the hot and humid American Southeast; I have quite decent skin for my age (some fine lines, no acne or other persistent issues), no allergies or sensitivities of note, and I love to take care of my skin. This was the second Lily Sado product I purchased, having had a positive first experience with a moisturizer. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this product, unless you are looking for that nostalgic scratchy, slightly raw feeling you get from drug store exfoliants. This is a gentle cleanser--I like to take the tiniest amount from the jar with my fingertips, swirl it into a lather, and cover my entire face, neck, and decolletage; it washes off cleanly and easily and when I dry my face off, my skin feels soft and supple. And when I say tiniest, I mean it--I purchased this in May, use it once daily, and feel I have barely made a dent in the jar, which confirms its value for the money. I personally am not sensitive to scents in products, so this item's very subtle, naturalistic scent is not a downside; it has a botanical, uplifting quality that is perfect for the morning. I am a devotee of skin care in general and Korean products in particular, and am happy I made this part of my daily routine.

For context I am a 60 year old female and have used many different products throughout my lifetime to take care of my skin. I came across Lily Sado Honey Walnut Creamy Face Scrub and liked what I saw for ingredients and the reviews were good. Wow! Is my response! My skin was so noticeably brighter after using it the very first time that I was ready to review it, but I used it a few more times to be sure. I love the feel of it, the fragrance is mild and pleasant and the effect has been brighter, smoother looking skin. Definitely recommend it.

The scrub is very exfoliating and leaves my skin soft. You do have to use at least a fingertip size to get a good exfoliation and the jar is much tinier than it appears in the pictures. I think I will get maybe 20 uses out of it, which is a much higher price point than I'm used to paying for other high quality scrubs. The ingredients are good quality so it's a fair enough price for that part. Honestly, I could get the same results with regular cane sugar, coconut oil and a sprinkle of matcha powder. 3.5 stars for me.

I have struggled to find a product worth repurchasing, until now. I'm bald and the face scrub helps the dermatitis on my scalp and face. It keeps both moisturized and feeling smooth after the exfoliating beads work their magic. I prefer to use it 2-3 times a week and allow it to set for a few minutes before rinsing it off. The ingredients are sustainable and not tested on animals, something I definitely appreciate. I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling to find a product worth helping their facial dryness or irritation. And for my bald people out there, give it a shot!

This review is for the cacao and coffee scent, and oh my gosh. If you like the smell of coffee and chocolate you will absolutely LOVE this product! I don’t drink coffee and when it comes to sweets I prefer vanilla to chocolate, but even I love the way this smells. I’m going to date myself here but do you remember Gloria Jean’s, the fancy coffee boutique at the mall? Remember how good it smelled in there? Well that’s what this scrub smells like. It’s like having a Gloria Jean’s in your shower. 🤣 It’s that yummy! The consistency is really nice, too. It’s thick like store bought frosting so it stays incorporated. Lots of other scrubs I’ve tried separate in the jar and you have to stir them back together - you don’t have to do that with this product and I really like that. I also love that it’s vegan and not tested on animals, (I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise) and the little spatula they included is a really nice touch. I wanted to wait a couple weeks before writing the review to make sure this actually works on my skin, and it’s just awesome. My skin is smooth and bright and I’ve noticed my makeup stays on longer during the day. Really good skincare will do that! So if you’re looking for a new scrub I think you ought to give this one a try. The price point is super reasonable, so from my perspective you really can’t go wrong here. I’ll definitely be reordering!

The walnut is too abrasive for a facial scrub in my opinion. It’s to bad because I like the other ingredients. I’ll keep it to do other body parts such as feet and shoulders but not face. They got it wrong with the walnut pieces in my opinion. I hope that helps. To each their on however.

The ingredients, aroma, consistency, and application of the Lily Sado Matcha Made in Heaven Green Tea Scrub is unmatched! It softens, clears, and glows my skin every time I use it. And also, this scrub has heavily minimized by clearing out and moisturizing my son's eczema-ridden/sensitive facial skin after years of itching, burning, and inflammatory pain that he was going through. The scrub is versatile, in that, you can use it all over your body besides your facial skin. Last thing, after doing extensive research and trying different facial scrubs for many years, this is the only scrub that is truly vegan and cruelty-free with all natural ingredients and little-to-no added chemicals unlike the other brands that make such claims (you know who you are!). Thank you for such an amazing scrub and I will be a regular customer for years to come, as long as the business/brand continues to make clean and effective products!
