Great holster
The Blackhawk holster is a reliable and sturdy holster that provides a secure fit for my Glock. The holster is made of high quality materials ensuring durability over time. The serpa auto-lock system provides for a secure fit for the gun, keeping it place and minimizing any chance of accidental discharge.

I read all the reviews good and bad
I read all the reviews good and bad. I spent a great deal of time drawing and re-holstering from this holster in an attempt to replicate the concerns expressed by some as to the pressure of the index finger resulting in contact with the trigger upon extraction from holster. The natural position for the finger is to fall in place along the slide as desired. I had to make a conscious effort to make my finger fall to the trigger. This may be due to the fact that I have carried weapons most of my life and follow the rule that the index finger is the first safety of any weapon. That said, folks who are not well trained and experienced in firearms may be more prone to "grasp" the weapon in fist like fashion resulting in the index (trigger) finger contacting the trigger and possibly resulting in a unintended discharge. In my opinion, the amount of pressure required to release the weapon for extraction from the holster does not result in the finger "following through under force" and striking the trigger. This is a very nice holster of which I am very pleased with the design. In my opinion, an accidental discharge while drawing from this holster would most likely be the result of improper action on the part of the shooter by grasping the weapon in a fist like fashion resulting in the finger being applied to the trigger before it should be, which is typically how many ADs occur while drawing weapons from any holster design. I like it.

Most Comfortable & Adjustable Holster For Fullsized Glock 9mm Conceal Carry
I love this holster. I am able to conceal carry with no imprinting with my Glock 17 Gen 4 and it’s adjustable based on how I draw my weapon from my belt (You can vary the angle that your handgun sits on your belt if you like your grip straight up or on an angle forward or on an angle back of center). It holds your hand gun firmly in place and has a locking mechanism that not only Protects your handgun from falling out of the holster, it also delays or prevents someone from pulling it out of your holster if you’re in a grapple. As a former law-enforcement officer with more than 10 years on the job (now retired) I like the various ways that I can conceal carry. I can wear this holster at any position from 12 to 6 o’clock (right handed carry) without any issues or discomfort. And it secures it both firmly to your belt and to the inside of your pants that you don’t have to constantly fidget with it like you do those soft shell holsters with loose belt loops. All of the fasteners are adjustable. What I like about this holster is it’s a sports style in that it is not full sized yet securely covers the barrel and the trigger, preventing any kind of accident to discharge if something gets caught in the trigger guard. The trigger of the Glock 17 Gen 4 lines up with the top of your belt so if you do not like a high carry holster, then this probably will not be for you. However I like it because I can get to my weapon quicker and the way I have the holster oriented I can get a quick draw and be on target quickly.

Blackhawk - securing that second ammendment right!
This is a superior holster for a minimal price. I have several of these and have always been impressed with their ease of operation yet have awesome retention of your weapon. I have to say this is the first one that I have purchased that only had the paddle attachment and not the actual belt loop attachment. But it was still a great buy and will give me many of years of confident operation to secure my Glock.

Excellent!
This fits my Glock 22 perfectly. I bought this for my duty weapon for when I'm not in uniform (admin, training, court, ect). Holds my weapon very well and is easy to put on and take off. You do need to undo your belt to get this off, which is a bonus for retention. Works great for off duty. I would not trust a serpa button holster for duty wear (online search should tell you why), but for general carry, I recommend this holster. I can't comment on the knock offs, but this genuine Blackhawk holster is well worth the price.

great price for essential gear
Whether you are a professional LEO (like me) or a security minded civilan, These holsters are the way to go. Mine arrived brand new in the box. It seems very sturdy and it's a two piece holster. Meaning if the paddle cracks (whihc does sometimes happen with age) you can unscrew the holster and just buy a new paddle. The holster is practical, since most new patrol rigs are now including the Serpa style push button release. This release button is easily accessible as a trained shooter will draw the firearm with their trigger finger extended alongside of the holster. I've shot LE competitions and civilian IDPA and found no difference in my speed when using this holster compared to level 1 retention rigs. More importantly it's comfortable, which means(at least for me) you'll carry a real gun more often, instead of a mouse gun. The holster is also VERY well priced. Similar holsters go for $50 at my local LE outfitters.

Great holster!
My previous holster was a cheap friction holster. Several times at the range when kneeling down or running, the gun slipped out. I decided it was time for a new holster so my trusty Glock wouldn't be taking a dirt bath anymore. The positive retention is really nice. It holds my pistol securely, but releases with just a slight touch on the button. Can be used as a paddle holster or a belt holster. But the belt loops are a little small. Make sure your belt will fit if you plan on using it that way. I use it as a paddle holster and it really grabs my pants and belt and locks on there. I've had no issues with it popping off at all. Great holster!

Prodotto ottimo. Do una sola stella a causa delle spese che ho dovuto sostenere al momento della ricezione del pacco (15.- EUR visto che il pacco arrivava dal Giappone)
