This Victron 500A BMV series battery monitor uses a high-precision battery shunt designed to expertly measure vital charging and performance data for your batteries. The shunt transmits this information to the LCD display, which shows statistics such as: - Battery voltage - Battery state of charge (%) - Charge / discharge current (A) and power (W): Flowing into/out of the battery - Amp hours consumed by the battery - ‘Time-to-go: time left until battery requires charging An in-depth data log also records historical values such as the highest/ lowest recorded voltages, deepest recorded discharge, time since last full discharge, cumulative Amp hours drawn, time since last full charge, total energy charged/discharged and more. This battery monitor can also be connected to a Victron Bluetooth Dongle (VE-DONGLE), or USB cable (VE-USB) (both sold separately). Both methods enable access to the VictronConnect App, which unlocks the ability to manually adjust charging settings for enhanced system personalisation and remotely monitor the system.
